Broadly speaking we specialise in engineering environments covering most business sectors. We also operate outside our core engineering disciplines for the recruitment of interim staff and senior management appointments, procurement interims being just one example.

Our assignments

There is no typical assignment as no two clients are alike. Each assignment is bespoke and is approached on an individual basis.  Examples include:

• Specialist electronic development contractors to train internal staff of a multi-discipline international corporation.
• A full construction project team including project managers, site managers, H&S consultants, design engineers, logistics staff, civil engineering specialists and office support for a major government build programme.
• Short term bulk engineering staff to assist a SME after a successful tender.
• A global utilities company requiring implementation of new protocols to meet EU legislation required a long term contract team of project managers.

• Multiple CONDO trained engineers to work on MoD Joint Operations Area (JOA) utilities projects within Iraq and Afghanistan.

Carney Jones Ltd supply a variety of specialist engineering and management staff to companies working in Hardship Zones including the defence industry. Many of our contractors work in theatre on utilities and infrastructure support projectsand are accustomed to working in hardship zones and military environments for extended periods of time.

We aim to place individuals who are seasoned overseas and defence support contractors, ideally CONDO trained and already security cleared.
